What Man Utd insiders are now saying about Benjamin Sesko says it all, he's using Cristiano Ronaldo method

Manchester United are currently spoilt for choice when it comes to exciting attackers at Carrington, with Benjamin Sesko just one of several with potential to be great.

The first season at a club as big as Manchester United for a young talent like Benjamin Sesko is always about learning and growing as a footballer, while learning to cope with the pressure.

This season has been exactly that for Sesko, as the Slovenian had a tough start to life as United’s striker, struggling in a system which isolated him and created very little clear chances.

However, Ruben Amorim’s sacking saw Sesko transformed as he scored three in two games under Darren Fletcher, taking his season total to five goals in 19 games.

Michael Carrick didn’t use Sesko in the brilliant 2-0 win over City, but this was simply as the game didn’t call for a pure number nine. But the future of Sesko remains incredibly bright.

According to the Daily Mail, club insiders are saying that Sesko is the most dedicated young player they’ve ever seen at the club.

This has involved turning away from social media use and instead puts his time into meditation.

Additionally, Sesko has formed a close bond with Diogo Dalot based on the defender’s fitness regime which he inherited from the great Ronaldo.

The pair are known to race eachother into Carrington every day to see who can be there earliest, before then using all the new facilities such as the hyperbaric chamber to get themselves in top shape.

This professionalism from Dalot rubbing off on youngsters is excellent news, and one of the biggest plus points of having the Portuguese defender.

Benjamin Sesko still has a massive role to play under Michael Carrick

This season has seen Sesko in and out of the team, with very little expectation or need for him to be an instant success, which is a good thing.

It gives him the luxury of settling in and developing as a striker, and Carrick is sure to help him do exactly that.

Speaking with Arena Sport Slovenia, Sesko has now hailed the impact of Carrick.

“He is very good as a person and as a coach. He has some excellent ideas and is very detail-oriented, which I really like because I’m the same kind of person. It’s already clear how meticulously he works.”

We envision Carrick using Sesko more against teams toward the bottom end of the table, as his physicality and height could be key in breaking down low blocks.

But his future is so bright.
