Ennis has three assists as well, meaning he has nine goal contributions in 27 games this season, which is a very strong output for a player still learning and growing.

In his last nine starts, Ennis has four goals and two assists, which is a return that is the result of clear improvement, and he is quickly outgrowing League Two.

Manchester United should consider finding Ennis a more challenging loan

With Ennis’ rapidly improving Fleetwood performances, with back-to-back goals in excellent performances, there would be an argument that he will soon be too good for League Two.

Earlier in his career, Ennis missed out on lots of development after injury, but is slowly reaching the levels that he had the potential to, and this means a greater challenge is needed.

Ennis could benefit from United checking on interest either higher up in League Two or up a division into League One, where he will be challenged against better opponents.

The former Liverpool talent is quickly becoming one to watch for United, and we anticipate that next season, he might even be Championship-bound.

Ennis is finding League Two easy right now, so Ineos have a decision to make, which maybe Lausanne could be a solution to.
