Manchester United Women have made another move in the January transfer window.
Busy window
Marc Skinner’s side have already significantly boosted their squad with the arrivals of Swedish duo Hanna Lundkvist and Ellen Wangerheim.
They have also impressively signed lethal German striker Lea Schuller from Bayern Munich.
The Red Devils have also been busy on the loan front, sending Hannah Blundell to Everton for the rest of the season and Lucy Newell to Crystal Palace.
Geyse and Rachel Williams have also left the club permanently.
Emma Watson
United have decided on the future of another one of their young starlets ahead of the rest of the season.
Scottish midfielder Watson was recalled from her loan spell at Crystal Palace, where she played six matches in the Women’s Super League 2, providing one assist.
The club’s official website reported that, “Manchester United Women midfielder Emma Watson has joined Tigres on loan until the end of the 2025/26 season, subject to registration.”
The site also added that, “she will now gain experience in Liga MX Femenil for the second part of the campaign, and Marc Skinner hopes she can get minutes on the pitch and develop over in Mexico.”
Commenting on the move, Skinner said, “this a different type of experience for Emma, which will also help her grow. In this next block, we need her to play, because I want her to realise the great talent she is.”
