Manchester United went to the Emirates to face title-chasing Arsenal and put three goals past the league’s best defence to win the game.
Michael Carrick expected Arsenal to have a fast start against Manchester United, and this is exactly what happened.
After dominating the first 25 minutes, the Gunners scored the opener in scrappy fashion with a Lisandro Martinez own goal. However, United quickly turned things around with Bryan Mbeumo adding an equaliser.

Patrick Dorgu’s thumping strike then saw United take a 2-1 lead, before Arsenal got an equaliser with another scrappy effort from a set-piece.
But then, Matheus Cunha stepped up to add the winning goal with a wonderful strike from outside the box to hand United a famous 3-2 victory.
Here are the winners and losers from the game.

Winners
Firstly, who were the winners?
Bryan Mbeumo: Another game, and another clutch display from Mbeumo, as he continues to leave zero doubt that he is a success story.
Mbeumo scored his ninth of the season and did it in style, being completely cool and composed to round the goalkeeper.
More United News
Patrick Dorgu: First and foremost, what a goal that was by Dorgu, on the volley off the bar and in, a very special moment by a player who somehow gets better weekly.
Dorgu looks like an £80m winger at the moment, not a £25m full-back, with his shooting and dribbling massively improved from earlier this season.
Michael Carrick: If there was any chance of Carrick getting the permanent United head coach job, he was always going to need something special, and he has achieved exactly this.
Beating City and Arsenal in such convincing circumstances is very impressive, and if this continues, perhaps United have found the man to end the post Sir Alex Ferguson pain.
Kobbie Mainoo: Another start in midfield, and Carrick’s trust in Mainoo is crystal clear.
It was a fairly flawless performance in which Mainoo looked so comfortable in the middle, against supposedly the league’s two best in Declan Rice and Martin Zubimendi.
Matheus Cunha: Scored the winning goal in another cameo that highlighted his incredible quality, with his strike from outside the box leaving Arsenal players shaking their heads.
Cunha was an instant positive when he was brought onto the pitch, running with purpose, and the goal itself was worth the £62.5m.
What a player.

Losers
And onto the winners.
Mason Mount: Clearly, Mount is the current odd man out in United’s attack, and he didn’t get a single minute in this massive win against Arsenal.
Mount had to watch as all of his rivals for minutes shine from the bench.
