'Better manager' - Roy Keane gives honest verdict on Carrick getting permanent Manchester…

Michael Carrick continued his perfect start to life as Man Utd head coach as they stunned Arsenal in the Premier League.

The former United midfielder enjoyed a perfect start to his life in the role when they demolished Man City at Old Trafford last weekend, but it went even better with a stunning victory in North London this weekend. The victory has lifted United to fourth in the Premier League table and proven they can beat the very best teams the Premier League has to offer.

Matheus Cunha was the match winner for United against Arsenal as he scored a stunning late goal to secure all three points for his side. Lisandro Martinez scored an own goal to give the hosts the lead, but Bryan Mbeumo equalised to send the teams in level at the break. Patrick Dorgu produced a stunning goal to give United the lead after the restart, before Mikel Merino looked to have salvaged a point for Arsenal before Cunha's late winner.

"Even if they do get into fourth, I still wouldn't be convinced he's the man for the job. Absolutely not. They need a bigger and better manager. But he has got the opportunity and what a chance for him, and you know what, he's taking it."
