Amad Diallo savages Arsenal after 3-2 defeat vs Man Utd with viral tweet in response to fan

Amad Diallo shared a savage tweet in the wake of Manchester United's 3-2 victory against Arsenal on Sunday evening. Matheus Cunha grabbed a late winner to ensure the Red Devils travelled home with all three points.

Mikel Arteta's side took the lead in the first half as Lisandro Martinez turned the ball in for an own goal. But Bryan Mbeumo then levelled proceedings after Martin Zubimendi misplaced a pass straight to the Cameroon international.

Minutes into the second half, Patrick Dorgu crashed an effort in off the bar to put the visitors in front. But it seemed as though the points would be shared when Mikel Merino turned home a corner after United failed to clear their lines.

It was a memorable day out for United supporters and their players, with them managing to beat the Premier League leaders after their 3-0 victory against rivals Manchester City a week prior. And Amad Diallo chose to rub salt into the wounds of Arsenal supporters following the final whistle.

Sharing a tweet which predicted Arsenal to win 4-0 on Sunday, the Ivorian added 'Enjoy Kid', along with the full-time graphic after the game. After the user tweeted back, stating, "don't ever tweet me again," Diallo once again fired back. This time, he chose to mock Arsenal's reliance on set-pieces, writing:

"Your only hope is corner. Be humble KID."

Carrick Delighted With Performance

Manchester United manager Michael Carrick celebrates after the match

Morale certainly appears to be high among United players under their new boss, with Carrick putting the club in a great position to challenge for Champions League qualification after their opening two games under him. And speaking after the final whistle, he praised the spirits in the camp.

Speaking to Match of the Day, he said: "It was a good day. I think we had to put a lot into that game, an awful lot. Credit to the boys, so proud of them. We had to sustain some attacks, especially earlier on and we grew into the game.

"We had a setback, come back strong, had a setback towards the end, come back strong. So many elements to the game that were good. We're so fresh whether it's 10 days in, two games, it's never going to be perfect at this stage, especially coming against a team like Arsenal, but there were so many positives to take and we'll keep adding to it in days and weeks to come."

Success leads to greater speculation that Carrick could enter the running for the permanent role in the summer, although Roy Keane doesn't believe he should get the job no matter what happens this season. But the man himself has said that he's not worrying about the future and is concentrating on the present.

He continued: "Nothing's changed. I've been here less than two weeks and I'm desperate to do well and improve the team and finish as high as we can. And having days like this and last week is something you get greedy for and we want to keep building on this for weeks to come."
