Man Utd produced a stunning win over Arsenal to go fourth in the Premier League.
Ratcliffe caught his second United match in little over a week, after he had also watched them defeat Man City 2-0 at Old Trafford in the Manchester derby. The 73-year-old has been in attendance to watch their first two wins under new head coach Michael Carrick, who has been appointed until the end of the season.
United still plan to hire a permanent successor to Ruben Amorim in the summer and will evaluate several candidates before a decision is made. The club does not want to rush their decision, but might find it hard not to get swayed by their flawless start to life under former midfielder Carrick. United now sit 4th in the Premier League table after wins over City and Arsenal and believe they could secure Champions League qualification.

Lisandro Martinez scored an own goal to give the hosts the lead, but Bryan Mbeumo equalised to send the teams in level at the break. Patrick Dorgu produced a stunning goal to give United the lead after the restart, before Mikel Merino looked to have salvaged a point for Arsenal before Matheus Cunha's late winner.
Ratcliffe was filmed leaving the stadium after the win, when he walked past reporters standing in the mixed zone. When asked if he would stop to talk to them, the United co-owner laughed: 'No, no... just get the smile in!', he was then asked if he was happy with the win, to which he simply replied: 'Yeah, very!'
United are back in action when they host Fulham in the Premier League on Sunday afternoon, and they will face a different type of test against a team they will be expected to beat. Even before Carrick was hired, they have fared well in the bigger matches this season, but often found it difficult to break down opponents who drop deep and soak up possession.
