Michael Carrick insists he won't get carried away after win at the Emirates

Manchester United interim manager Michael Carrick will not let himself get carried away after Manchester United's dramatic 3-2 win over Premier League leaders Arsenal, insisting there are bigger games ahead for him and his team.

Carrick extended his winning run to two as interim manager, following last weekend's dominant win over rivals Manchester City, as United beat Arsenal at the Emirates in the Premier League for the first time in eight years.

It looked like the game would end all square after Mikel Merino equalised for the Gunners in the 84th minute, but United went up the other end with substitute Matheus Cunha, who let one rip into the bottom right corner, leaving David Raya no chance in goal to seal a monumental win for Carrick and his side.

Speaking after the game, the former England midfielder said he won't get carried away, insisting there are bigger games ahead.

"I am not getting carried away," the 44-year-old said.

"We have some bigger games coming up because every next game is the bigger game.

"I don't think we can look too far ahead. "To achieve two big results does not come easy. "It is a good start, and we have to keep building on it."

Carrick added," I am enjoying it. "It is a fantastic position to be in. "What happens next, I am not going to answer every week.

"At the moment I am really enjoying it, and I will continue to do what I can."
