Man Utd produced a stunning performance as they defeated Arsenal 3-2 in the Premier League over the weekend.
Michael Carrick piled the praise on Patrick Dorgu after he produced another 'immense' performance when Manchester United defeated Arsenal in the Premier League over the weekend. United continued their perfect start to life under new head coach Carrick as they stunned the league leaders with a fantastic 3-2 away win on Sunday afternoon.
Lisandro Martinez netted an own goal to give the hosts the lead, but United went in level at half-time when Bryan Mbeumo was gifted an equaliser following a defensive mistake. United came out firing after the restart and completed their turnaround as Dorgu scored a stunning strike from outside the box.
Mikel Merino looked to have salvaged a point for Arsenal when he bundled the ball over the line from a corner, only for Matheus Cunha to secure a famous win when he curled in an excellent finish from distance. The victory lifted United to fourth in the Premier League table and solidified their hopes of Champions League qualification.

Carrick hails Dorgu impact
Patrick Dorgu scored a great goal when Manchester United defeated Man City in the Premier League and went one better with a stunning strike against Arsenal at the weekend. The 21-year-old struggled for consistency under former head coach Ruben Amorim but already looks like a new player under the guidance of Michael Carrick.
United will hope to have Dorgu available when they face Fulham this weekend, after the Denmark international was forced off following an injury scare against Arsenal. Dorgu has not only shone with his attacking output over the last two matches, but Carrick has also been impressed by his 'immense' defensive work in those games.
"Yeah, Pat has been a big player for us over the last couple of games. In so many ways," Carrick said after the Arsenal win. "Attacking-wise, he has obviously scored two goals, but I think in terms of the threat and the athleticism, the quality coming in as well, connections. But defensively, he has been immense as well down the side with Luke, doubling up. Against two teams who ask a lot of questions down the sides. It is a big, big job for him.
"I am delighted for him. The two goals he has scored are very different, but you get that because he has put so much into the performances. It is nice to see him smiling and happy. He came off with hopefully a little bit of cramp, nothing worse. It just shows what he has put into the performance. Absolutely delighted for him, hopefully it is not too bad."
