The first half of the 2025/26 season was a huge success for Harry Amass, who was a standout performer in chaotic circumstances at Sheffield Wednesday.
Amass was one of Wednesday’s best performers, and he quickly became a fan favourite at Hillsborough. But his loan deal ended this month and United opted for a new destination rather than an extension.

It was confirmed this week that Amass has joined Norwich City on loan until the end of the season.
Norwich’s sporting director raved about Amass when the deal was confirmed, and the 18-year-old did not have to wait long for his debut with the Canaries.

There is huge excitement at Carrington about Amass’ potential, so there will be plenty of eyeballs watching his progress out on loan.
Thankfully, Amass has been thrown straight into action at Norwich. He came on as a substitute for the final 15 minutes of their 2-1 win over Championship leaders Coventry City.

There were concerns about Amass’ physicality, but his time in the Championship is certainly helping to address those flaws.
Speaking after his Norwich deal was confirmed, Amass explained that he already knows what he needs to improve.

“They [Manchester United] want me to get more experience, get better at a few things, maybe off the ball. I think you can always get better everywhere, more games, different coaching, facilities, it can all make my game even better,” Amass said.
“They want me around at the end of this season, we’ll see what happens when I go back. They’re excited for me to go out now and show what I can do, and keep getting better.”
