Manchester United has launched its latest collaboration with the Stone Roses. On Tuesday, the club unveiled a range of shirts, jackets and shorts as part of its new adidas x Man United x The Stone Roses collection.
The centrepiece of the collection is the Man United x The Stone Roses Shirt (£90). This features an all-over graphic print of the band’s signature paint splatter artwork from the ‘I Wanna Be Adored’ single, designed by guitarist John Squire.
It also features a unique Man United crest with Stone Roses lemon graphics and ‘I Wanna Be Adored’ text inside. Also available is the Man United x The Stone Roses Long Sleeve Shirt (£140).
Alongside this is the Man United x The Stone Roses Track Top (£100), with a predominately black design with the band’s splatter artwork on the chest and shoulders. It also has the iconic adidas three-stripes down the sleeves with a Trefoil logo and Man United x Stone Roses crest.
Younger Reds can show off with the Man United x The Stone Roses Junior Shirt (£70) and Man United x The Stone Roses Junior Track Top (£80). Meanwhile, the all-black Man United FC x The Stone Roses Jacket (£220) features the band’s lemon graphic on the nape, buttons and lining, finished off with the Trefoil on the right sleeve and the special Man United crest on the left.

Rounding out the collection are accessories including a scarf, bucket hat and three footwear drops. Each item in the adidas x Man United x The Stone Roses collection is available at JD Sports, adidas and the Man United Store.
Unveiling the collection, the club said: “We are proud to present the latest adidas x Manchester United x The Stone Roses collection, a bold celebration of Manchester’s enduring connection between football, music and style.”
The Stone Roses are ever-present at Old Trafford, with the band’s ‘This Is The One’ echoing around the stadium before each match for the past 20 years. The club paid tribute to bassist Gary ‘Mani’ Mounfield on Sunday following his death last month aged 63.

Ahead of their Premier League clash with Arsenal, the team walked out at the Emirates Stadium wearing their new track top with ‘Mani 1962-2025’ printed beneath the club crest. When the full adidas x Man United x The Stone Roses collection launched on Tuesday, Man United fans flocked to social media to share their first impressions.
Writing on X, one said “Football. Music. Culture. Manchester United done right.”
Another commented: “Finally matching the kit design to the walkout anthem. The culture remains undefeated.”
However, some criticised the price tag, with one saying: “£140 for a long sleeved shirt? You’ve made the whole line unaffordable for the majority of fans.”
While this fan wrote: “The Stone Roses x Man Utd Adidas drop looks class. Proper Madchester vibes, love it.”
