Reports have suggested that a Chelsea player regrets joining the club and could move to Manchester United.
In recent days, Chelsea fans have gone into a panic, as reports from The Sun claimed that Cole Palmer was homesick and wanted to move back to Manchester. With Man United being his boyhood club, it was suggested that the Chelsea star could become United’s replacement for Bruno Fernandes.
However, because Chelsea signed Palmer to a 10-year contract, their asking price for the England international would be off the charts, and well over a £100m price tag. Palmer has struggled with injuries this season, which is in part due to his downturn in form.
He’s not the only Chelsea player with injury problems this season, and he’s also not the only one who could move to Man United…
Reports claim Delap regrets Chelsea move

Liam Delap joined Chelsea from Ipswich Town for £25m in the summer. He came in to be the number nine of the future for the Blues, but has struggled so far. Due to injury problems, and poor form, Delap has scored just one goal in 14 Premier League games this season.
According to LiveScore, claims are emerging which suggest Delap regrets joining Chelsea in the summer. As Man United were keen on him when he joined, they are named as ‘still interested’ in the 22-year-old, and hope they can tempt him away from Stamford Bridge.
This is surely a move that the Blues would push to avoid, especially seeing as Liam Rosenior really rates the English youngster. He said in his press conference before Chelsea’s win against Crystal Palace: “‘For Liam, he’s had a stop-start season in terms of injuries, you need to have a flow, especially as a nine, in terms of your timing, in terms of your positioning. I know what an outstanding player he is.
Only time will tell to see if these reports are true and Man United try to swoop in for the 22-year-old, but Chelsea surely wouldn’t look to sell him less than a year after bringing him to the club.
