Serie A giants Inter Milan appear to be seriously interested in bringing Manchester United flop Andre Onana back to San Siro.

According to the Daily Mail via FCInterNews, the Nerazzurri have already made contact with the player’s agent to discuss a potential summer reunion.

Andre Onana enjoyed an outstanding 2022/23 season at Giuseppe Meazza.

Indeed, the Cameroonian had established himself as one of the best goalkeepers in Europe’s top-five leagues before joining Man Utd in 2023.

However, things didn’t go his way at Old Trafford.

United loaned Onana out to Turkish outfit Trabzonspor in the summer after signing Senne Lammens from Royal Antwerp.

Though it was a massive step back for the 29-year-old, he has at least secured regular first-team action in Turkey.

However, Onana is unlikely to stay at Trabzon beyond the summer.

Meanwhile, Inter are in the market for a new shot-stopper to replace the outgoing Yann Sommer.

Despite his recent struggles, Onana was impressive in Serie A and could fancy a summer return to his old stomping ground.
