Manchester United are due to make a decision over the future of Harry Maguire.
There are two key players in Michael Carrick‘s Manchester United team with contracts set to expire at the end of the season.
A decision was recently announced regarding one of them, with Casemiro announcing he will depart Manchester United in June.
United fans have expressed sadness around Casemiro’s looming exit, while speculation is ongoing around Harry Maguire’s future.

Maguire’s deal will also expire at the end of the season, with it unclear whether he will be offered an extension.
The centre-back recently returned from injury and has shone in a starting role in wins over Manchester City and Arsenal.
There is a strong feeling among fans that Maguire deserves to receive a contract extension offer.

Manchester United fans on Harry Maguire
Manchester United supporters have been voicing support for Harry Maguire via the United In Focus TalkingPoints platform.
Our poll asked whether Maguire should get a contract extension beyond the 2025/26 season, and the results were overwhelmingly in favour.
At time of writing, 87 per cent of supporters back the idea of Maguire landing a new deal.
One fan wrote: “Keeping Harry at United is a no brainer. He has so much experience to pass on to the young players like Heaven and Yoro.
“He is currently playing some of the best football of his career, and if anyone deserves a new contract then it is definitely Harry Maguire.”
Another added: “If United have European Cup to play next year having an experience player like Maguire who has been good for long time is the best move.
“It gives more time to Yoro and Heaven to progress without too much pressure!”
Another response read: “He deserves a new contract… on reduced wages.”
A fourth user added: “Yes, why not!! he has done really well since he came back from injury, you need at least one experienced player at the back.”
And another wrote: “He is a very good defender, he should stay for us.”
A sixth fan added: “Maguire deserves an extension of his contract. Man Utd need his experience!”

United weighing up options
Manchester United may be waiting to secure European football next season before offering Maguire a new deal.
The club already has Matthijs de Ligt, Lisandro Martinez, Leny Yoro and Ayden Heaven competing for spots.
Maguire’s chance of a new deal will be boosted by qualifying for European football, and the intense schedule this then brings.
United are committed to the development on Yoro and Heaven and want to think long-term.
But having Maguire around can work to their benefit and not to their disadvantage, especially if there is plenty of squad rotation required.
