Real Madrid's game against Benfica turned into chaos as two players were sent off and a goalkeeper scored his first ever goal.
Benfica and Ukrainian national team goalkeeper Anatoliy Trubin somehow managed to score in the last minute of the Champions League clash. The unlikely goalscorer helped seal victory for the Portuguese side in the 97th minute with a 4-2 victory at the Estadio da Luiz in Lisbon.
It came just moments after Real Madrid's Rodrygo had to be escorted down the tunnel following a red card in injury time. Raul Asencio was sent off just mins before, also in injury team, as tempers began to flare.
The night was already quite feisty as former Real Madrid boss Jose Mourinho was constantly being dragged away by his assistant for most of the evening, as he attempted to motivate his players.

An motivate he did as Benfica managed to sneak into 24th place, the final play-off position, with Trubin's late goal. Despite leading Madrid 3-2, Benfica still needed one more goal to go through. In desperation, Trubin went up for the set piece and scored with a header.
The result saw Real Madrid finish in ninth place, just missing out on the automatic places for the last 16, but remain very much in the competition.
Real Madrid appeared to lose their cool injury team, which saw 97 minutes played. Two red cards were show in the 92nd and 97th minute, meaning Madrid conceded the last goal with just nine men on the pitch.
