Manchester United target Mohamed Kader Meité set for Saudi Arabia move

Stade Rennais’ Mohamed Kader Meité (18) is set to join Saudi Pro League side Al-Hilal, as reported by **[Fabrizio Romano](https://x.com/FabrizioRomano/status/2016883916880126096).**

The France youth international has been linked with a move away from his formative club throughout the transfer window. Saudi Arabia have been looking to add young talent to their league, as was the case last summer when the likes of Nathan Zeze, Saimon Bouabré, and Valentin Atangana made moves to the Gulf State.

Meité has also been a target for Manchester United, who had kept tabs on the centre-forward, either with a view to a move in the summer or a late move this month, depending on whether Joshua Zirkzee departed.

But Meité is now all set for a move to Al-Hilal after the Saudi side reached a €30m agreement with Rennes. **L’Équipe** understands that the Breton club could receive another €3m in bonuses. The player has also agreed to the move. A medical will follow.
