Here's how Manchester United's loanees have got on during the 2025/26 season:
Several Manchester United players with first-team experience have spent at least part of the 2025/26 season out on loan. Here's how they have been getting on,
Jadon Sancho: The winger had a difficult start to his stint at Aston Villa, struggling to secure a consistent starting spot in the Premier League, but things have picked up for him of late. He scored his first Villa goal in a Europa League win over Fenerbahce in January and has started to get more minutes under Unai Emery in the league
Marcus Rashford: Currently on loan at Barcelona, Rashford has made a strong impression with big goals and assists in the league and in Europe. His form in Spain has led to suggestions his move to the La Liga side could be made permanent - a deal which would cost Barca £26.2million.
Rasmus Hojlund: The Danish striker has enjoyed a productive spell at Napoli, netting six goals in his first 18 Serie A appearances for the Italian club. His successful adaptation to his new surroundings has triggered discussions of a permanent transfer, with the move becoming an obligation if Napoli qualifies for the Champions League, though at the time of writing they're clinging to their top four status by a single point.
Andre Onana: Since joining Turkish side Trabzonspor on loan, Onana has rediscovered his confidence and helped propel the team to third place in the league. Fans have nicknamed him "The Wall" due to his improved composure and critical saves throughout the campaign, with the club even sharing the nickname on their own social channels.
Toby Collyer: The young midfielder spent the first half of the season with West Bromwich Albion but struggled to establish himself as a regular starter. After a calf injury in late November, he was officially recalled by Manchester United in January to determine the next steps for his development and now looks poised to go back out on loan to Hull City.
Harry Amass: The 18-year-old left-back excelled during the first half of the season at Sheffield Wednesday, where he made 21 Championship appearances. Following this successful period, he has recently moved on to a new loan spell with Norwich City for the remainder of the campaign after Wednesday's points deductions left them all but assured of relegation.
Ethan Wheatley: Wheatley spent the first part of the season at Northampton Town, where he grew into a key player and scored three goals in 25 appearances. Despite his progress, United exercised a break clause to recall him in January and are set to send him to a Bradford City side currently pushing for promotion.
