'I'm actually told': Journalist shares Everton's new plan to prevent Iliman Ndiaye joining Man…

Everton may already have one eye on the summer transfer window with just days remaining in the winter market.

It has certainly been an underwhelming month for Everton both on and off the pitch.

David Moyes will not be pleased with the results in the Premier League and he has not seen a single new face walk through the doors at Finch Farm.

No new players have arrived at the club, with just three days remaining in the market, but no big names have departed Merseyside either.

What concerns do you have about Iliman Ndiaye leaving Everton in the summer?😫

Surely Everton must hand him a new contract!

Everton are receiving interest in Iliman Ndiaye from Manchester United ahead of the summer, though.

A plan may already be in place to prevent any side from prising the Senegal international away from the Hill Dickinson this summer.

Everton have Iliman Ndiaye plan to avoid summer exit

Earlier in the month, Moyes laughed off suggestions Ndiaye may leave Everton in the near future.

However, the Scot did also admit that every player unfortunately does have his price, but Ndiaye’s would be sky high for Everton to consider an exit.

Speaking on The United Stand, journalist Ben Jacobs has shared Everton’s plans to open talks with Ndiaye over a new contract.

“So, they’ve got no interest in selling. He’s well contracted until June 2029. And I’m actually told that Everton once this window shuts might start talks to try and agree fresh terms,” he said.

“The other thing is that his natural role is a right winger where Manchester United are quite well stocked”

Back in October, Everton News reported that Everton would consider a new deal for Ndiaye this year following his impressive form on Merseyside.

Ndiaye is not considered to be one of Everton’s top earners and that will surely have to change if they are to stand a chance of keeping him from joining one of Europe’s top sides.

Gary Lineker has been so impressed with Ndiaye over recent months and it is hard not to be; he has been sensational for Everton.

With that, annoyingly, does come the transfer speculation linking him with clubs that are currently playing European football.

This is something that Moyes will be aware of as Everton are being pushed for a European finish this season.

It is still not out of the picture, with the Blues sitting just four points off fifth place in the Premier League table.

Ndiaye will turn 26 years old in around a month’s time, which may well mean that the clock is ticking on Everton to make that next step to fulfil his European dream.
