Everton have just submitted a fresh £20m bid to land late striker deal - journalist

Everton may have just shown their hand in the final days of the winter window with a fresh bid now submitted.

The search continues for Everton’s first signing of the window with a number of positions still needing to be bolstered.

It is no secret that David Moyes will want to see some new faces come through the doors at Finch Farm ahead of the deadline on Monday.

What should be Everton’s top priority before the deadline on Monday? 😬

Time is certainly running out, though, with Moyes admitting it is unlikely Everton will make a signing before the window shuts.

That will not be through a lack of trying as it has now been claimed that the Blues are actively pursuing a striker signing.

Everton make fresh bid for Fenerbahce’s Youssef En-Nesyri

It has been made fairly apparent that Everton hold an interest in Fenerbahce’s Youssef En-Nesyri, but so do a number of other clubs.

There are also some issues on the player’s side that may need working on.

Regardless, Turkish outlet ASpor have now suggested that Everton have submitted a fresh bid for the Moroccan striker.

The report claims Everton have put forward another loan offer with a £20m buy option for En-Nesyri.

Juventus have also shown interest in En-Nesyri as the two clubs have found themselves approaching similar targets.

The finances involved are not necessarily Everton’s biggest issue, though.

Everton News columnist Alan Myers claims En-Nesyri is happy in Turkey, with suggestions the player does not want to play outside of a hot climate.

Late Beto exit could be sanctioned at Everton

There have been no significant arrivals or departures at Everton this month, but that could quickly change.

Beto has interest from clubs across Europe, with a return to Italy being mooted over recent weeks.

A lot was shared by Moyes on Friday during his press conference, as the Scot admitted some late exits could be green lit.

“People might [leave], yes, but at the moment, we’re not planning to – but they may well do,” he said.

Ironically, Fenerbahce have also shown interest in Beto as the striker’s options for a late exit continue to grow.

Whether the 27-year-old could be involved in a deal for En-Nesyri remains to be seen, but Everton cannot be ruled out of making some late moves.
