Victoria Beckham revealed David's "embarrassing" habit and her love of dinner parties prior to the couple's feud with son Brooklyn.
Brooklyn released an explosive statement which accused his parents of prioritising "Brand Beckham" over all else and controlling narratives in the press. In social media posts, Brooklyn said his parents had been "trying endlessly to ruin my relationship since before my wedding, and it hasn’t stopped."
He also alleged that his wife had been "disrespected" by his family. Brooklyn, 26, Nicola Peltz in 2022, before his relationship with his parents deteriorated further, potentially beyond repair.
Brooklyn was born into the celebrity world while David was at the height of his powers with Manchester United. His father's fame has only increased since hanging up his boots, with David and former Spice Girl Victoria regulars at red-carpet events with fellow A-list celebrities.
Much to the annoyance of his wife, the former England captain isn't one for being fashionably late. During an interview on the US television show Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen last year, she revealed: "David likes to be early for everything.
"We went to a party and we were there before the waiting staff. It's embarrassing at this point!" After the host joked the couple should arrive late instead, Victoria replied: "Exactly what I say."

Meanwhile, Victoria, despite her demure reputation, has previously revealed her love of dinner parties. She once told Elle: "I don't tend to go to parties, but if I do go out for dinner, I like to have a drink and really have fun.
"I'm really good value at a dinner party. I want to relax and have a laugh. I like to have fun, and I think that often surprises people."
It seems unlikely that David and Victoria will be dining with Brooklyn and his wife anytime soon, as the family fallout rumbles on. Following his social media tirade, Brooklyn has been silent on his mother receiving a French knighthood earlier this week.

She was congratulated by David and their second son, Romeo. David wrote: "Being named a Chevaliere de l'Ordre des Arts et des Lettres by the French Ministry of Culture… nobody deserves it more than you x We love you."
Following the ceremony in Paris, David posted a string of photos, including a snap of their family and one with Vogue global editorial director Dame Anna Wintour. Romeo echoed his father's comments in an Instagram post: "No one deserves this more than you xx love you mum."
As for Brooklyn, his no-holds-barred statement on January 19 seemed to confirm the rumours that have swirled since his wedding. Speaking on ITV's Good Morning Britain last week, DJ Fat Tony, who performed at the three-day celebration, claimed Nicola was left in tears after her mother-in-law had the first dance with her husband.
