Luis Gardner, who attended Ysgol Dinas Brân, has signed his first senior deal with the Toffees.
The 18-year-old centre back, who has represented Wales at under 19s level, has signed a contract until 2028.
Ysgol Dinas Brân posted on its Facebook page saying: "Everyone at Ysgol Dinas Brân would like to congratulate past pupil Luis Gardner on signing his first professional contract with Everton, in a deal until June 2028.
"The Wales Under-19s defender has a bright future and we look forward to seeing him play for Wales too. Well done Luis!"
He joined the Everton's academy aged six and captained Everton Under-18s on five occasions in league matches at the beginning of the current campaign.
“It's a very proud moment for me and my family,” Luis told evertonfc.com.
“I’ve worked very hard for over the past 12 years since I've been here to get to this step, but it's just one of the first milestones to, hopefully, many more.”
