Welcome to the FPL Gameweek 24 Captaincy metrics blog. We are back for Gameweek 24 after another below par Gameweek for the masses in Gameweek 23. Haaland faces a Spurs side while the on fire Red Devils Bruno and Mbeumo face Fulham at Home. Joao Pedro and Enzo Fernandez round up the Metrics with a home game vs West Ham. Without further ado, let’s get into it and see who tops the captaincy metrics this week.
Total metrics points: 14 + 4 + 18 + 26 + 10 + 32 + 16 + 26 + 4 + 26 + 4 + 4 + 4 + 28 + 4 + 26 + 32 + 4 + 4 + 8 + 12 + 4 + 2 = 312 points

Mbeumo tops the table with 13 shots in the box, 6 Big chances, and an xG of 3.16 in the last six games.
Enzo is 2nd with an xG of 2.60 in the last six games. He’s also had 3 big chances and 10 shots inside the box.
Haaland is 3rd with an xG of 2.56 in the last six games. He’s had 4 big chances and taken 15 shots inside the box during the period. He ranks Top for Shots inside the box among these 5 players.
Joao Pedro stands 4th with an xG of 2.33, amassing 9 shots inside the box and 4 big chances in total.
Finally, Bruno Fernandes stands last with an xG of 1.90 and 8 shots inside the box and 4 big chances. Even though Bruno is last for xG, He is Top for Chances Created(24) among these players.

Underlying numbers of Candidate’s teams
Chelsea take the top spot and have registered 12.48 xG , 18 Big Chances and 54 Shots inside the box in the last six games**.** Manchester United are up next with 61 shots inside the box and 19 big chances during the period and an xG of 9.22.
Manchester City are last with 62 shots inside the box and 14 big chances during the period and an xG of 8.58.

Fixture Difficulty of the Candidate Team in FPL GW24
In the Third Phase of the Article, we look at the Fixture Difficulty of our 5 Candidates.
We will use DraftHound’s odds for a Team scoring at least one goal in the Gameweek and the Odds of scoring more than 2.0 goals in the Gameweek as a whole.
Manchester City have 89% odds to get at least one goal and 45% odds to get 2 or more Goals this Gameweek vs Tottenham (A). They are Top for both the metrics.
Manchester United are 2nd with 89% odds of at least 1 goal in this Gameweek vs Fulham (H) and 43% odds of scoring 2 or more goals.
Lastly, Chelsea are 4th with 75% odds of at least 1 goal vs West Ham (H) and 14% odds of scoring 2 or more goals.

Projections Rank of our FPL Gameweek 24 Captain Picks
In the fourth phase of the article, I used the Anytime Returns and Projected Points tools available at Fantasy Football Hub. With the help of the Anytime Returns Tool, I have derived the Safety Rank, which helps in determining the Safest Captaincy Option of the week, while I have used the Projected Points Tool to determine the Explosion Rank, which helps in determining the Most Explosive Option of the week.
Haaland is first with an anytime returns projection of 66% and a 6.6 points projection in FPL Gameweek 24 vs Tottenham (A).
Bruno Fernandes is second and has an anytime returns projection of 52% and a 6.4 points projection , while Pedro is third with anytime returns projection of 53% and a points projection of 5.2
Mbeumo and Enzo are joint 4th. Mbeumo has an anytime returns projection of 51% and a 5.7 points projection. Enzo has an anytime returns projection of 49% and a points projection of 5.8 vs West Ham(H).

Conclusion – Final Rank from our FPL Gameweek 24 Captaincy metrics
In the Fifth and Final Phase of the article, I have aggregated the Ranks derived above to pull out the **Cumulative Rank Factor (CRF).**According to our captaincy metrics, the candidate with the lowest cumulative rank factor is the ideal captaincy option.
Haaland and Mbeumo jointly top the captaincy metrics with a cumulative rank factor of 10, Enzo is a close third with a CRF of 11. Joao Pedro and Bruno Fernandes come last with a CRF of 12.
