Manchester United have confirmed the loan departure of one of their young stars.
Toby Collyer has now officially completed his loan move to Hull City for the remainder of the 2025-26 season.
The 22-year-old spent the first half of the campaign with West Bromwich Albion.
The midfielder struggled to impress as regular injuries never allowed him to thrive.
He played for only 253 minutes across 12 Championship appearances, a modest tally considering his talent.
He was recalled from his loan spell at the start of this month but the plan was always to send him on a fresh loan if he was able to recover from a calf injury in time.
The former Brighton & Hove Albion starlet is now fully fit and will be desperate to play for the Tigers for the next five months.
Hull City are currently placed fourth in the Championship table with 50 points.
They are strongly pushing for promotion to the Premier League next term.
United would be delighted if Collyer could play a big role to help them achieve this target.
The midfielder made his senior United debut under former manager Erik ten Hag in 2024 against Manchester City in the Community Shield.
He made 12 further appearances before being sent on loan at the start of the campaign.
United believed it was better for the England youth international to play regularly at another top club rather than wasting crucial months on the bench.
With Casemiro set for a summer exit and uncertainties around the futures of Manuel Ugarte and Bruno Fernandes, Collyer could have a big role at Man United next season.
