Michael Carrick will hope to continue his fine start as caretaker head coach of Manchester United when they host Fulham on Sunday afternoon.
The Englishman has overseen impressive victories against both Manchester City and Arsenal since being appointed as a temporary successor to Ruben Amorim earlier this month.
United now sit fourth in the Premier League table, and victory over the Cottagers will keep them on track to qualify for the Champions League.
Ahead of the visit of the Whites, it has emerged that one Man United player is in talks about a move to return to his former club.
According to CaughtOffside, United goalkeeper Andre Onana – currently on loan at Turkish side Trabzonspor – is in talks over a return to Inter Milan.

The report claims that the Cameroon international is set to depart Man United permanently when his loan deal with Trabzonspor expires this summer.
The Super Lig outfit are said to be open to the idea of signing the goalkeeper permanently, but Inter are also interested in signing him and they are joined by Serie A rivals Juventus in showing interest in the 29-year-old.
Onana joined United from Inter back in 2023 but struggled to recreate his best form during his time with the Red Devils.
In total he kept 24 clean sheets in 102 games for United across all competitions, as well as conceding 150 goals.
Since moving to Turkey, the Cameroonian has featured 17 times for the Turkish giants, establishing himself as the club’s first choice ‘keeper.
As well as interest from Juventus and Inter Milan, Onana’s representatives are also said to be keeping tabs on the goalkeeping situations at both Roma and Napoli.
Roma could provide a possible destination for Onana, with current ‘keeper Mile Svivar set to depart the Italian capital at the end of the current campaign.
