Only a matter of hours now remain for Everton to pull a new signing out of the bag before the deadline on Monday.

Speaking to the media on Friday, David Moyes admitted signings are now less likely as the clock ticks down.

According to journalist Joe Thomas, Everton youngster George Morgan could now be set to leave the club on loan for the remainder of the season.

He claims AS Cannes, who are owned by the Friedkins, are a likely destination for the 19-year-old.

Everton are already locked in talks with Cannes over the potential move to play in the fourth tier of French football.

There is a lot of talk surrounding Everton’s academy, with Braiden Graham really impressing Everton’s coaches.

However, the club are seemingly keen to send some of their talents away to gain some experience playing men’s football.

An interesting few days lie ahead for Everton in the market, with the door not closed on incomings or outgoings.

Beto has received interest from clubs across Europe, with Everton still in search of another striker addition.
