Jo Potter on Molly-Mae Sharpe, the 'incredible' Palace support, and taking on Southampton

Speaking about Palace's run of form, Potter said: "It's a lot of work. It's nothing that the players don't deserve. They're putting in the work. They're showing their quality.

"They're thriving at the moment. We need to keep that confidence high, but be realistic because we know what this league is about.

"One game and that can all change. It doesn't matter who you're playing."

Last Sunday's clash against Durham was the best attended game in the WSL2, and Potter was keen to heap praise on the Palace support.

She said: "I think we've caught the eye a few times with the games that we've played in, scored some excellent goals and winning helps with that.

"I was super impressed by our fans at Chelsea away, I thought that was incredible away support.

"We heard them more than we heard any of the Chelsea fans, so it was an outstanding day for us and they turned up again last Sunday.

"I think an exciting way of playing, scoring goals and winning games definitely helps contribute to that and we want to keep the fans turning up and making noise for us too."
