Leeds United manager Daniel Farke.
Leeds United are still seemingly on the hunt to add another striker to their ranks in the January transfer window.
By now, every Leeds fan is aware of the circus that is currently surrounding Wolves striker Jorgen Strand Larsen and his uncertain future, and whilst a deal for the Norwegian would be an amazing one for Leeds, it is seemingly beginning to look more and more unlikely by the day.

Naturally, you would assume the 49ers would have a lengthy shortlist of strikers behind Strand Larsen if they were unable to sign their primary target, but this is seemingly not the case, with a lack of strikers being linked with Leeds in recent days.
However, this has now changed, with Leeds reportedly showing an interest in a forward who currently plies his trade in the Bundesliga.
Leeds United intersted in Wolfsburg’s Mohamed Amoura
With Lukas Nmecha’s recent injury ruling him out of United’s game with Arsenal, it is yet another reminder why bringing another forward to West Yorkshire in January must be the priority for the 49ers.
According to a report from French journalist Nabil Djellit on X, Leeds are interested in Amoura, and have been for some time.
Amoura, 25, is worth around £27.7million according to Transfermarkt; however, a deal for the Algerian seems unlikely unless there is a dramatic twist, according to the same report by Djellit, meaning any potential deal will not be a straightforward one.
With Leeds already bidding an initial £33million for Strand Larsen, the Whites certainly have the funds to make an appealing offer to Wolfsburg and create this dramatic twist, but whether they choose to before deadline day remains to be seen.

Data suggests Mohamed Amoura would be an incredible signing for Leeds
Standing at just five feet and seven inches, Amoura would be a different sort of profile to what Leeds have up top in comparison to the two giants, in Nmecha and Dominic Calvert-Lewin.
Perhaps this would lead Daniel Farke to use the Algerian as part of a strike partnership alongside Calvert-Lewin, for example, rather than just letting Amoura lead the line on his own.
Amoura has certainly impressed since making the move to Wolfsburg, with the forward boasting some impressive attacking data.

Whether it’s Amoura, Strand Larsen or somebody else entirely, Leeds must sign another striker in January, as they are one Calvert-Lewin injury away from potentially being relegated from the Premier League.
