Leeds United have shown an interest in one of Germany's most captivating attackers as the transfer window enters its final hours.
Leeds eyeing attacking reinforcments before transfer deadline
Having already signed Facundo Buonanotte from Brighton on loan until the season's end, Leeds have been continuously linked to further incomings, primarily in the number nine position.
The Whites, who have a six-point gap on West Ham United in 18th, appear keen to only pounce on market opportunities rather than to spend lavishly, regardless of what is happening around them.

On the departures front, winger Jack Harrison has joined Fiorentina on a loan deal, having struggled for consistent minutes at Elland Road.
Ahead of the window slamming shut late on the 2nd February, it seems that Leeds could make another move if certain aspects fall into place. Daniel Farke's side remain keen on Jorgen Strand Larsen, amidst reports that the Wolves striker's move to Crystal Palace may have encountered complications.

Leeds hold talks to sign £25m star who'd be a better move than Strand Larsen
Leeds have held talks about signing this incredible Premier League star, who would be a better signing than Jorgen Strand Larsen.
Ahead of his side's 1-1 draw with Everton, Leeds manager Farke did not close the door on further arrivals, but stressed any purchase would be one who could help his side in the long-run.
"We'll be awake to give ourselves the best possible squad for the run-in, but we will only do something if we are 100% convinced that it is the right player."
Now, Leeds have been touted with making a late push for one of the Bundesliga's stand-out attacking talents.
Leeds show interest in Wolfsburg star
According to journalist Nabil Djellit, Leeds are very much interested in Wolfsburg attacker Mohamed Amoura and have been for some time.
A 42-cap international for Algeria, Amoura joined the Germans from Union Saint-Gilloise on loan in 2024, the deal being made permanent after Amoura enjoyed an impressive debut season in Germany.
The forward's form has been much the same in the ongoing campaign, having netted seven Bundesliga goals in 17 appearances.

It was Ralph Hasenhuttl, formerly of Southampton, who brought Amoura to Wolfsburg. Sacked in 2025, the Austrian heaped praise on his striker.
“Amoura, we know, has unbelievable quality, and it is no surprise that he causes defences problems, especially away from home.
"He has incredible speed, and I am better off just leaving him up front to cause chaos. He is a real weapon for us.”
Despite his apparent ability, Amoura was left out of Wolfsburg's latest squad due to disciplinary issues. This absence has sparked rumours over his future and Leeds, as is evident with their Strand Larsen pursuit, would not be against signing another striker.
Joel Piroe has struggled to adapt to the Premier League, whilst Lukas Nmecha's reoccurring injury niggles have seen Farke want further depth up front for Dominic Calvert-Lewin.
Although Leeds like Amoura, they may find a deal hard to complete, with Djellit reporting that the Algerian will finish the season with Wolfsburg, provided there are no unforeseen circumstances. It would be an exciting addition, however, if the Whites managed to find an agreement, or pick up the pursuit this summer.
