Manchester United had a number of loanees in action on Saturday, and for one, it brought a new injury concern.
There is a long list of players currently on loan from Manchester United, and it could yet grow further this month.
Harry Amass has joined Norwich City, where he was absent from the squad on Saturday in defeat to Middlesbrough, which we hope is not fitness-related.
Meanwhile, Toby Collyer has signed for Hull City. Although he didn’t quite make the deadline to feature this weekend, he will certainly be playing next week.
Elsewhere on Saturday, one midfielder started for his club, but saw his game ended before half-time.

Dan Gore sees injury end brilliant performance for Rotherham
One forgotten United youngster is Dan Gore, and two and a half years after his first-team debut for the club, he is on loan with Rotherham.
It has been a decent campaign for Gore, making 24 appearances and impressing in the bulk of them.

Gore started against Exeter as Rotherham ran out 4-0 winners, but he only managed to play 40 minutes.
The 21-year-old was withdrawn after going down, holding his shoulder, seeming to indicate some kind of dislocation, perhaps.
This is really frustrating, with Gore having an excellent game prior to this.
10/11 passes completed
2 tackles
2 recoveries
3/3 ground duels
1/1 aerial duels
Gore was always suggested as a midfielder Ruben Amorim would like; however, he never got the chance to show it, and now he could be set for another spell on the sidelines.

Manchester United should be concerned by Dan Gore injury
Gore has always been a brilliant footballer, with tenacity and technical quality in abundance.
However, he has never quite been able to string together a run of games with full fitness, getting injury after injury.
Gore has suffered as a result, and this is the latest blow.
Ineos will be worried by this, as it seems that his career will be plagued by injury, given he is 21 and showing no signs of getting over this.
Gore’s contract ends in June, and at this rate, the chances of an extension are very slim.
