Everton salvaged a point with a last-gasp Beto equaliser at Brighton and Hove Albion - but the aftermath left David Moyes furious

David Moyes let rip at the crazy football rules that saw him booked for celebrating Everton's last-gasp leveller.
The Toffees boss admitted he looked like David Pleat, who famously danced onto the pitch after Luton secured their top-flight status at Manchester City in 1983. The regret the Scot had about his dad dance charge onto the pitch was that he didn't do a knee slide to get full value for his yellow card.
Moyes said: "Yes, I got booked for that. Who wants to see managers getting booked for celebrating? We're killing it, that the managers can't leave their technical area. I mean, I don't think that I would dance around if the goal was in the 55th minute.
"But you know that shows they've got nothing about them at all. No thoughts about what football means to the managers. Sad, isn't it? I'm still shaking my head.
"If it happens again, yes I bloody will do it again. Actually, I think if I had been a bit more mobile, I might have done a knee slide."
Moyes was more thrilled to see birthday boy Beto take the hero role after playing second fiddle to Thierno Barry in recent weeks.
He added: "Everybody's been desperate for Beto to do well and he continues to work like a beast every day to try and improve himself, to try and make himself better. Sometimes in life, the harder you work, the luckier you get."
Brighton boss Fabian Hurzeler could certainly do with a change in fortunes with sections of the Amex crowd booing after being denied just a second win in 11 games with the last kick of the game.
He said: "I said before the game we need to manage the key moments better and in one moment we were not alive and this cost us the game. It feels painful but you can feel sorry for yourselves or you can choose to again and we will do that.
"I think it is only a small group of fans and they can share their frustrations. It is part of the game but I can promise I will give everything for the club."
