'Makes me happy this': Jack Grealish reacts to what David Moyes did during Everton vs Brighton

Everton picked up a late point against Brighton and Hove Albion on the South Coast on Saturday afternoon.

Beto received the plaudits for his last-minute equaliser, and David Moyes was keen to heap praise on the Everton frontman after the game.

“Well, he’s a great lad to work with,” the Everton boss explained.

Beto only took 10 minutes to do what Barry couldn’t in almost 90 minutes! 🤩

There is no way Everton can now sell Beto… is there? 🫣

“He tries to make himself better every day, he really does. I’m pleased because he’s probably needed the confidence from the goal.”

Moyes celebrated Beto’s goal with great passion and was actually booked as a result by referee Chris Kavanagh.

With that said, Jack Grealish has reacted to that moment on Instagram.

The Manchester City loanee commented: “Makes me happy this. What a guy man.”

He also added: “Absolute legend man.”

Love this from Moyes!! Surely we have to offer him a new contract? 💙

The boss on whether he'd do his late celebration again…

“I would! If I’d been a bit more mobile, I might have done a knee slide! That would have only got me a yellow as well, so I may as well have!” 💙

Jack Grealish clearly has a great relationship with David Moyes

It’s quite evident that Grealish has a great relationship with Moyes and would love to continue playing under him next season.

The Toffees are keen to sign Grealish permanently, although their £40m option to buy will have to be negotiated down.

A deal in the region of £25m would be fair for both parties, with the England international turning 31 later this year.

Moyes is eyeing a move to sign Tyrique George from Chelsea, which indicates that he may be a back-up to Grealish next year.
