Always Wolves
Always Wolves
Tyler Prices shares his thoughts on Wolves performance with ratings for every player
Sa – 6
Couldn’t do much for the goals.
Mosquera – 6
Picked up his typical yellow card, played well in my eyes. Class challenge on Rayan in the 77 minute to stop what was a clear 1 on 1 with Sa. Long throws also a threat.
Agbadou – 6
Need this man back to his best if he’s to stay. Got skinned within 30 seconds of the second half and were very lucky to have not conceded.
Santi Bueno – 6
Every time he’s in possession he’s looking up and searching for the front line with a long ball, proper Coady vibes to it.
Rodrigo Gomes – 7
Wolves as a team look so much brighter and better with him in the team. Played excellent.
Lightning quick and always willing to get forward, better than Tchatchoua in that position.
Hugo Bueno – 6
Very good challenges down the left flank. Picked out a lovely cross to Tolu which was so unlucky to not have been converted, good save.
Andre – 5
Paired really well with Joao in the early stages of the first half. But gave the ball away for Kroupi’s incredible strike, poor. Since then evidently struggled.
Joao Gomes – 6
Pivotal in the first half before the goal, yet again pairing well with Andre but since conceding the opener it became a bit sloppy giving the ball away in the second half many times. Great header that hit the post in the late stages of the game, so unlucky.
Mane – 7
Got a few shots away in the first half and even capitalised off one of them but unluckily Rodrigo was offside. Always a threat and he’s absolutely brilliant. Fouled multiple times, clearly pinpointed as a threat from a Bournemouth perspective.
Hwang – 6
Few times in the first half where he was trying to be too creative and play 1 touch passes through Bournemouths midfield and back line and losing the ball. Second half picked out some nice passes and over the top balls to Tolu. Wasn’t nice to see him cheered off.
Tolu – 8 🌟
Incredible hold up play, gets himself about so much and in comparison to Larsen… I know who I want up front. Such a class presence up front and we need to be holding onto him for next season. So unlucky to not have scored. Did everything right for a shot in the 80 minute a huge chance but a bad miss. Will be replaying his missed opportunities all night but nice to have a striker get himself about like Tolu has in a Wolves shirt. A great number 9 performance despite finishing.
SUBS –
Not necessarily had long enough to make a huge impact on the game.
Larsen 5
Should’ve scored the chance he got within minutes of coming on, some nice flicks and link up play. Potentially the last time he appears in a Wolves shirt.
Bellegarde N/A
Great to see him back, gave all he could really. Needed that for fitness.
Arias N/A
Came on eager to get the ball in the box and run at the Bournemouth defence, improved a lot since he first joined the club.
