Protest banners at Old Trafford during their FA Cup tie against Brighton earlier this month

fans will be protesting against Ineos and the ownership of the club ahead of today's clash with Fulham.

The march, organised by The 1958 fan group, will begin at two meeting points - one at the top of Sir Matt Busby Way where the street meets Chester Road and the other at Hotel Football. The two marches will then meet at The Trinity Statue outside prior to kick off.

While United's results have improved under , The 1958 insist the protest is fuelled by the treatment of match going supporters. At the beginning of the season, there were plans for a protest against the ownership group but these were postponed due to a lack of support from members.

However, the support for INEOS has eroded among The 1958 supporters' group due to their stance on ticket prices and the approach towards lifelong season ticket holders, as well as other issues. Recent news regarding progress on the new 100,000-seater stadium has also failed to appease those protesting ahead of kick off.

The protest will begin at 1pm. We will be bringing you live updates from the protest in the blog below
