Leeds United rivals submit reduced fresh bid for Whites transfer target Jorgen Strand Larsen…

A big update has emerged on Leeds United transfer target Jorgen Strand Larsen.

Leeds United’s Premier League rivals have reportedly submitted a new ‘reduced’ bid for Whites transfer target Jorgen Strand Larsen which is said to have a “strong chance” of being accepted.

Leeds are keen to add Wolves striker Strand Larsen to their ranks to boost their attacking options in the club’s quest for survival and the Whites saw a bid rejected.

Leeds remained at the negotiating table and keen on a deal but not at the expense of going above and beyond what they deemed a sensible valuation due to club’s Profitability and Sustainability position.

A number of other club’s have been keen on Strand Larsen, notably Crystal Palace amid doubts over the future of Eagles striker Jean-Philippe Mateta who appears on his way to AC Milan.

Palace, though, as per The Athletic, have now reportedly submitted a new ‘reduced’ offer of £43m plus £5m in add-ons for Strand Larsen which The Athletic say has a “strong chance” of being accepted.

Taking to social media platform, Athletic journalist David Ornstein wrote: “Crystal Palace submit bid for Wolves striker Jorgen Strand Larsen. Reduced £43m + £5m fee offered by #CPFC being discussed in talks via Jorge Mendes; strong chance #WWFC accept. AC Milan continue to work on Jean-Philippe Mateta deal @TheAthleticFC”
