Demiane Agustien scored a hat-trick as Arsenal U21s mirrored the first-team by securing an impressive 4-0 victory away to Leeds United today.
The young Gunners, who again fielded a side containing many U18 players, had to be patient to break Leeds down but took the lead just before half time through Agustien.
Theo Julienne scored a superb goal after the interval to make it 2-0, with Agustien finding the net twice more.
There was also a significant moment in the second half for Alex Marciniak, who came on for his competitive U21s debut.
Callan Hamill started at right-back, with Josh Ogunnaike keeping his place ahead of Marcell Washington in the opposite full-back berth.
First-team squad member Tommy Setford started in goal.

Arsenal were looking to build upon their 1-0 win against Burnley last week but the start of the game was somewhat uneventful.
Setford was called into action early on, with Alfie Cresswell then heading over for Leeds.
Around half an hour into the game Arsenal carved out their first chance, with Charles Sagoe Jr shooting wide.
Andre Harriman-Annous then shot over after being found by recent first-team debutant Brando Bailey-Joseph.
It seemed as if the half was going to end goalless but Harriman-Annous did well to find Sagoe Jr, who sent a dangerous cross into the path of Agustien, with the midfielder finishing well for his first goal in Premier League 2.
Oliver Pickels shot over for Leeds early in the second half but Arsenal soon managed to take control of proceedings.
Julienne emphasised the quality that he possesses with a superb strike to double the lead after pushing forwards to excellent effect.
Marli Salmon then had a header saved following a long throw from Julienne.
Sagoe Jr and Agustien had further attempts before a double change took place, with Archie Stevens and Louis Zecevic John coming on for Bailey-Joseph and Harriman-Annous.
Arsenal went on to make it 3-0, with Agustien’s corner catching out the Leeds defence. Salmon suggested that he got a touch but replays indicated that he didn’t appear to do so.
Agustien went on to complete his hat-trick, with Sagoe Jr the architect once more.
Marciniak then made his competitive U21s debut by replacing Agustien.
Sagoe Jr had a shot saved late on but four goals was enough, with Arsenal U21s taking another major step forwards.
There are still things to work on and tougher tasks lie ahead, but the second half display today was excellent, especially when it is taken into consideration that many U18 players featured again.
Agustien and Julienne showed their quality in midfield, with Ibrahim providing protection behind them.
The defence also performed well, while Sagoe Jr deserves credit for continuing to perform with such vibrancy and helping the younger players in the team.
Arsenal, who have moved up to 15th place in the table, are back in action next week when they host Everton.
