Michael Carrick’s winning run continued on Sunday with another dramatic victory for Manchester United, this time beating Fulham 3-2.
Despite a closely battled first half, Manchester United had a 1-0 lead after Casemiro headed home Bruno Fernandes’ free-kick.
United were then better after the break, before Fulham stepped things up, piling on the pressure.
However, Casemiro slipped Matheus Cunha through to grab the second of the game, which seemed to have all but won the three points.
But Fulham hit back, scoring twice with Kevin’s sensational strike following a penalty by Raul Jimenez. A 2-2 draw wouldn’t have been terrible, but United weren’t done and went up the other end in stoppage time for Benjamin Sesko to score the winner.
United won the game 3-2 with another massively dramatic outing.

Winners
Firstly, the winners from the game.
Casemiro: The Brazilian has already announced his United exit is looming in the summer, but his performances don’t look like a player on a farewell tour.

Turning 34 this month, Casemiro was excellent against Fulham, dominating midfield as usual and also scoring his fifth goal of the season with a big header. Casemiro also got the assist for Cunha’s goal with a brilliant no-look pass.
If it wasn’t for the wages, United would be begging Casemiro to stay, but now we can just admire how brilliant he is, and this performance sent a reminder to Old Trafford.
Matheus Cunha: Like his compatriot, Cunha had another brilliant showing for United against Fulham as he got another goal.

Replacing Patrick Dorgu, Cunha had the job of getting back to help Luke Shaw, which he did really well, despite it being against his nature.
Cunha’s impact in an attacking sense was top class, grabbing a third goal contribution in three under Carrick. After a slow start, we are now getting the best version of the number 10.
Bruno Fernandes: Five games since returning from injury and to his favoured number 10 role and Fernandes has assisted in every single one, with two against Fulham.
The Premier League assist record now looks well within Fernandes’ capabilities at this rate, with 12 this season.
If this is his last season at the club, he’s going out on top.
Kobbie Mainoo: The more Mainoo plays, the worse of a decision it looks that Ruben Amorim so blatantly didn’t rate the 20-year-old midfielder.
Mainoo was excellent in possession, offering brilliant progression in his passing, ball carrying and security on the ball in midfield.
Off the ball, Mainoo was also very good with one crunching tackle in particular, catching the eye.
Benjamin Sesko: Having endured a difficult first few games under Carrick, Sesko got his breakout moment with the late winner against Fulham.
It was a really good finish in a high-pressure situation and showed why he is destined to become a world-class striker.
It also kept the winning run alive, and importantly for Sesko, it showed the impact he can have from the bench.

Losers
And the loser.
Harry Maguire: It was a very good performance for Maguire; however, he almost threw away the points by conceding a penalty with a very late challenge.
No matter how good the performance was, Maguire must know he cannot make a tackle like that in such a fragile game state.
He will be the most relieved man in Manchester tonight.
