Everton appear to be on course to sign Tyrique George.
Ahead of the weekend, it was claimed that Everton had registered an interest in George, following the injury to Jack Grealish.
George has lacked minutes at Chelsea, and Everton have been in talks over a loan move.

Earlier today, it was suggested that George still needed to be convinced to join Everton, but that the Toffees were confident of reaching an agreement.
Following that update, there has since been another development with George.
And it’s positive news for Everton fans going into transfer deadline day.

It has been reported by David Ornstein that Everton have now reached an agreement in principle with Chelsea to sign George.

The deal is set to be a loan with an option to buy, pending ratification from Everton.
The England U21 international has been granted permission to have his medical with the Toffees on deadline day.
In a further positive sign, journalist Fabrizio Romano has given the story his signature ‘Here we go’ catchphrase. He says that the purchase clause Everton have agreed with Chelsea is ‘not mandatory’.
He said on X: “Tyrique George to Everton, here we go! Deal in place after official bid sent yesterday as exclusively revealed.
“Loan deal until June, full salary covered by #EFC and buy option clause not mandatory. Medical booked.”
A positive move by Everton, George will provide something different
It is the update that Everton fans had been hoping to hear, and hopefully the club will be able to get this deal wrapped up quickly.
It is certainly a positive move by Everton, who may well have found their new Richarlison with George, a player who is all about being direct.

The Englishman will be determined to express himself in the blue of Everton having found minutes hard to come by with his parent club.
And Everton really do stand to benefit, having been crying out for a bit of dynamism out wide.
The unpredictability of George will be a welcome addition, and hopefully the youngster will be able to hit the ground running as quickly as possible.
