Residents were rushed from their homes as police and army bomb disposal rushed to a residential street in Liverpool before an explosion so massive that people nearby said their "hearts were going to stop".
Douglas Road in Anfield was cordoned off earlier today as Merseyside Police and army personnel swarmed after forensic team found a suspicious powder inside a house linked to an ongoing investigation.
