How Manchester United’s next five Premier League fixtures look compared to their top four opponents
The winning run under Michael Carrick continues and the fight for a top four spot is wide open.
Liverpool and United continue to overtake each other, while Manchester City and Aston Villa invite the pressure after they both dropped points over the weekend.
With such little room for error at this stage in the season, clubs will need to stay on top of their game to avoid late upset. We can expect the top four to change order multiple times between now and the end of season.
Every result over these final months of the season will be crucial for United. Here’s how their next five Premier League games look compared to their top four rivals.
Man United next five Premier League games
The Red Devils are at home just twice in their next five fixtures. Their next game after the win over Fulham will be an Old Trafford clash against Tottenham Hotspur, who nicked a point off City on Sunday.
United will then face West Ham and Everton on the road before entering March with fixtures against Crystal Palace and Newcastle United.
Next Man United fixtures: Tottenham (H), West Ham (A), Everton (A), Crystal Palace (H), Newcastle United (A)
Liverpool next five Premier League games
Arne Slot’s side enjoyed a statement 4-1 win over Newcastle at the weekend, banking their first Premier League win of 2026. Fans will be desperate to see them spark a winning run but Man City await them next.
Next Liverpool fixtures: Man City (H), Sunderland (A), Nottingham Forest (A), West Ham (H), Wolves (A)
Chelsea next five Premier League games
Chelsea produced a superb comeback against relegation-threatened West Ham in their last outing. The win is now their third in a row, matching United for the best current form out of the current top six teams. The Blues will face another struggling side when they visit Wolves next.
Next Chelsea fixtures: Wolves (A), Leeds United (H), Burnley (H), Arsenal (A), Aston Villa (A)
Aston Villa next five Premier League games
Aston Villa have been enjoying their football this season but suffered a defeat to Brentford at the weekend - their second in their last five games.
Unai Emery’s side finished sixth last season and will be hoping to improve on that this time round. They are currently seven points behind leaders Arsenal.
Next Aston Villa fixtures: Bournemouth (A), Brighton (H), Leeds United (H), Wolves (A), Chelsea (H)
Man City next five Premier League games
City were sent home frustrated on Sunday after losing a 2-0 lead against Tottenham. The plucky Spurs fought for their comeback and forced City to share the spoils, putting even more daylight between them and Arsenal at the top of the table.
Next Man City fixtures: Liverpool (A), Fulham (H), Newcastle United (H), Leeds United (A), Nottingham Forest (H)
Arsenal next five Premier League games
Arsenal are looking rather comfortable at the top of the tree and unless something utterly nightmarish happens, they can be confident in knowing they will get top four and, if results continue, the title.
Their 3-2 defeat to United would have been jarring for Mikel Arteta and co but they bounced back with a statement 4-0 win over Leeds at the weekend. They will be rubbing their hands together after City dropped points to Tottenham on Sunday.
