Fulham are poised to complete a late signing ahead of their Premier League meeting with Everton next weekend

Marco Silva would not have been the only person inside Old Trafford on Sunday afternoon to think his Fulham side had snatched a point against Manchester United.

The visitors were 2-0 down when Raul Jimenez converted from the penalty spot on 85 minutes. The stunning comeback was swiftly completed when Kevin rifled in a beauty of an equaliser to stun the home crowd on 91 minutes.

However, Fulham’s lead lasted just three minutes as Benjamin Sesko fired the Red Devils back in front as Fulham left Manchester with nothing to show for their efforts.

Silva could be cheered up soon, though, as Fulham are reportedly closing in on a late transfer deal ahead of Monday’s 7pm deadline.

Fabrizio Romano has reported that a £32m deal has been agreed to sign Ricardo Pepi from PSV Eindhoven. He said on X: “Fulham have agreed €37m package with PSV Eindhoven for Ricardo Pepi! All agreed also on personal terms.

“Final step needed: PSV looking for replacement on the market.”

With deadline day falling on a Monday, the Cottagers will have Pepi on board in plenty of time before their next fixture. They host Everton at Craven Cottage on Saturday before travelling to Manchester City a few days later.

Pepi, 23, has been with PSV since 2023 having first moved to Europe with German side FC Augsburg in 2022. He hails from the United States and started his career with FC Dallas.

He has made 15 appearances for PSV this season in the Eredivisie, scoring eight goals. He has made a total of 90 appearances for the Dutch club with 37 goals and eight assists and can add some firepower to the Fulham ranks for the remainder of the campaign.
