Hull City have completed the bulk of the transfer work already in what has been a busy final 10 days or so of the winter window, with no fewer than five arrivals ahead of deadline day.
Yu Hirakawa, Kieran Dowell, Paddy McNair, Toby Collyer, and Lewis Koumas have all arrived to bolster Sergej Jakirovic's ranks for the final weeks of a season that could yet end in glory for the Tigers. Koumas' impact was immediate, netting the winner off the bench at Blackburn Rovers on Saturday.
So far, the only high-profile departures have been Kasey Palmer, who has since joined Luton Town on loan until the end of the season and Enis Destan.
Destan has joined Westerlo on loan until the end of the season, where he'll play in the same side as a January arrival at City in Acun Ilicali's first window as owner four years ago, Allahyar Sayyadmanesh, and Reda Laalaoui, who was supposed to join the club in the summer before the transfer restrictions were imposed.

His exit freed up the space to bring in Koumas on loan from Liverpool, with Palmer's exit creating significant space in the wage bill that allowed them to bring the likes of McNair, Dowell and Collyer in.
If anything were to happen today, it would largely centre on moving one or two out. It would not be a surprise to see David Akintola move on, with interest in the Turkish Super Lig. The window in Turkey is open for a few more days yet, so there is no immediate rush to conclude that.
Brandon Williams is expected to leave in search of regular football. A move abroad has been discussed, and that's something to keep an eye on, and so, too, is the future of James Furlong. Out of contract in the summer and not in the first team plans, a move north of the border could yet happen before the close of play on Monday night.
The biggest story on deadline day is likely to centre around John Egan. Ipswich Town want to sign the City defender, but the Tigers want him to stay, so it will depend on what the Irishman wants to do.
If he goes to Portman Road, then the Tigers will seek cover in the central defensive positions and will look to move quickly to bring in a replacement.
There has been no further interest of note in Ivor Pandur and Charlie Hughes, and barring any last-minute chaos, both of those are expected to remain, with Acun Ilicali determined to keep the pair at the club.
All that means the final day of the winter window, which closes at 7 pm on Monday night, could be a largely quiet affair for the Tigers, who continue to work under strict transfer restrictions, unlike in previous seasons, where it's been entirely frantic.
The Tigers will hope that they've been able to keep their financial house in order, and that no more late payments have been registered, so that they can return to trading normally in the summer.
Despite those restrictions, the Tigers have still had a very good window, and there is little argument that they're coming out of it stronger than they went into it, which is always the base requirement of any transfer period.
