Benjamin Sesko sent Old Trafford into raptures by scoring a late winner for Manchester United against Fulham.

Considering it was in the final moments of the game, Sesko showed incredible composure to control the ball and swivel in the box. It was his fifth goal in the Premier League, and likely his favourite one so far.

Benjamin Sesko message after scoring winner vs Fulham

Sesko should grow in confidence with another goal to add to his tally, especially after starting every game under Carrick on the bench so far.

The Slovenian has shown an elite mentality after being dropped to the bench, refusing to moan or complain and instead making an impact in his substitute cameos.

After the full-time whistle at Old Trafford, Sesko took to Instagram to send a message to his supporters.

Sesko’s United teammates flooded the comments, including Kobbie Mainoo, who wrote: “Jumpman” – a fitting name for the 6’6″ Slovenian.

Harry Maguire commented: “Finish”, while Joshua Zirkzee and Bruno Fernandes also showed their support in the comments.

Benjamin Sesko can give Michael Carrick selection headaches

United have already outscored their 2024/25 goal tally this season in just 24 matches, and that is due to the improvement in the attacking department.

Sesko, Matheus Cunha and Bryan Mbeumo have all levelled up United’s attack, and it means the Red Devils now have plenty of depth across their front line.

With Tottenham up next for United, Carrick has some big selection decisions to make, especially in attack.

Bryan Mbeumo has impressed as a central striker, but Sesko’s impact against Fulham was immediate. He almost scored with his first touch when his header crashed against the post, and he eventually got his reward with a late winner.

Patrick Dorgu remains injured and Mason Mount was ruled out against Fulham with a knock, but he could return in time to face Spurs.
