Celtic’s strong message to Nottingham Forest after deadline day bid of £17.3m for Arne Engels

Celtic have rejected an improved offer for Arne Engels after Nottingham Forest made an early deadline day bid of £17.3m for the midfielder.

Forest made an initial bid of £14m for the Celtic star before the Hoops took on Falkirk in the Scottish Premiership on Sunday.

The Parkhead club rejected that offer with Celtic boss Martin O’Neill joking that Engels would not be allowed to leave for anything less than £100m.
