Tottenham Hotspur could scupper West Ham United's chances of Premier League survival in the coming hours of the transfer market - with the Lilywhites set to retain the services of Antonin Kinsky despite interest from the Hammers.
Spurs landed Kinsky last January after an injury to Guglielmo Vicario left them in a tricky situation, given the poor form of backup goalkeeper Fraser Forster - and the young Czech star has impressed somewhat every time he's been between the sticks in north London.
However, a lack of game time means he's potentially in need of game time, with the Hammers ready to offer him that - but Spurs could pull the plug on any deal, according to Tottenham writer Tom Barclay.
Report: Tottenham 'Reluctant' to Let Kinsky Leave
Antonin Kinsky-1
The report by Barclay on X (formerly Twitter) states that Spurs are now reluctant to let Kinsky leave, despite interest from Nuno Espirito Santo's men.
The young Czech stopper looks likely to stay put in N17, which could have implications over the future of both Alphonse Areola and Mads Hermansen.
The Hammers' goalkeeping duo have both been touted for moves away from the east London relic, but nothing has come to fruition yet and with Areola starting on Saturday night against Chelsea, a changing of the guard may not be in order.
Kinsky has only featured in the League Cup for Spurs this season, though he did rack up six Premier League appearances last season, winning one and losing five of his games.
Hermansen was dropped after some poor form, though he himself was linked with a move to Tottenham, which now appears to be dead in the water.
