Leeds United remain active in the January transfer window with only hours to go, as they look to make further additions before the deadline.
Despite operating under tight financial restrictions, the Whites have already strengthened their attacking options by securing Facundo Buonanotte on loan from Brighton, having failed to land the deal last summer.

Leeds are still eager to add a striker, but their leading target, Jørgen Strand Larsen, is now set to complete a move to Crystal Palace. As a result, the club have been linked with a potential swoop for former Aston Villa forward Jhon Duran.
However, the Whites must avoid spending money in panic on deadline day and avoid a certain player they have been heavily linked with in the last few days.
Jaidon Anthony linked with move to Leeds United
Jaidon Anthony has been one of the shining lights of a Burnley team that is one of the favourites to return to the Championship at the end of the season.
He has scored five times in 22 Premier League appearances and has been linked with a move away from Burnley before the end of the window tonight.
According to Sportsboom, Leeds are among the clubs that have held preliminary talks over a potential deal to sign the Burnley winger in the ongoing window.
Everton and Fulham are also interested in Anthony, and there is a real chance that Burnley could sell him if a club offer them somewhere around £25m.
Burnely boss Scott Parker would prefer to hold on to him, but financial considerations may take precedence if a big offer lands on their table in the coming hours.
However, Leeds must stay away from making any deadline day offer for Anthony, as it could be a colossal waste of money.
A move for Anthony would make no sense
Anthony spent the 2023/24 season on loan at Leeds, and while he made 31 Championship appearances, only two of them came in the starting eleven.
He never really earned Daniel Farke’s trust to start more games, and Leeds showed no interest in signing him on a permanent deal at the end of the season.

The winger has improved since then, but he does not have a natural place in the team. The Whites system does not have a natural spot for wingers.
Wilfried Gnonto is already struggling for games, and even Noah Okafor has lost his place in the starting eleven. The Whites also signed Facundo Buonanotte in January.
Signing Anthony would show a lack of planning and a club feeling panicky on deadline day after missing out on their top targets.
