We’re finally here – transfer deadline day is upon us in the Premier League. The January window has been relatively quiet, but teams have until 7pm this evening to get deals over the line.
We looked at both potential arrivals and departures for the purposes of this list. Clubs such as Chelsea, Tottenham Hotspur and Newcastle United are all involved – who will make the jump in the final hours of the window?
Jhon Duran
Jhon Duran made a bit of a splash when he joined Aston Villa back in 2023 – however, since his move to Al Nassr last year, his career has stalled somewhat.
A couple of Premier League teams have been linked with his signature on deadline day – both Tottenham and Leeds United are interested in a move for the 22-year-old.
He has also been linked with a move to Zenit, but it seems that he has his sights set on a move back to the Premier League.
Axel Disasi
Axel Disasi fell a bit flat at Chelsea – while he put forth some fantastic displays for the Blues, his inconsistency eventually cost him his place in the team.
He has been on loan at Aston Villa this season, but he is now thought to be undergoing a medical at West Ham United.
However, the Hammers could face a late challenge from bitter rivals Tottenham, who are also rumoured to be in the mix for Disasi’s signature.
Randal Kolo Muani
Randal Kolo Muani has had a curious campaign at Tottenham. He has often looked completely useless in the Premier League, but has shone brightly on the European stage.
He is only on loan – this loan could be cut short, as Juventus are pushing to bring him to the Allianz Stadium on a permanent basis.
Despite this, Spurs boss Thomas Frank is keen to keep him in North London, though it remains unclear how much power he actually has over the situation.
Endrick
Endrick has failed to live up to the hype that preceded him at Real Madrid – he is, however, enjoying a positive loan spell at Lyon in Ligue 1.
A trio of Premier League clubs are monitoring his situation – they are Leeds, Sunderland and once again, Tottenham. Due to his existing loan deal, it could be difficult to force a move in the next few hours.
This one is more likely to take place in the summer, but he could still make the jump to England’s top division for the right price.
Sandro Tonali
This is perhaps the most eye-catching of all the transfer deadline day rumours. Sandro Tonali has been a key player for Newcastle United this season, but league leaders Arsenal are thought to be in pursuit of his signature.
These links have been rubbished by those close to Newcastle, but the rumours persist. The Toon have no intentions of letting him go – but everyone has a price.
The Gunners do not need to bolster their midfield – with players such as Martin Zubimendi, Declan Rice and Martin Odegaard on their books, they have plenty of quality in the middle of the park.
