There could be some outgoings at Everton on transfer deadline day, but one player reuniting with Sean Dyche currently looks unlikely.
At the moment Everton fans are patiently waiting for updates about Tyrique George, who has travelled to Merseyside ahead of sealing a loan move.

An agreement was reached for George on Sunday, and it’s now a case of getting it finalised before the 7pm deadline.
Potentially in addition to George coming in, we could see one or two depart – even though David Moyes would preferably like to keep everyone and have strong depth.
Adam Aznou is someone who could leave.
If you could sign one player, who would it be Everton fans? 🤩

And there’s also been some talk about Dwight McNeil, who’s been linked with Nottingham Forest.
However, an update from Sky Sports suggests this is not likely.
Dwight McNeil to Nottingham Forest currently looks off the cards
Dwight McNeil has frustrated Everton fans with his performances this season, and plenty have implored the club to sell him this month.
MORE EVERTON STORIES
It was reported recently that Nottingham Forest could sign McNeil, with Sean Dyche having shown a clear liking for the player during his time as Everton manager.
But this morning, Sky Sports News brought a report from Forest’s training ground, laying out their plans for deadline day.
And it seems no move for McNeil is on the cards, with Forest actually focusing on two other positions.
Reporter Anton Toloui said at 11:09am: “They’d love to sign another two players today – a central midfielder and a left-back.

“We know they want a central midfielder, they had two bids knocked back for Arne Engels.
“The other position they’re a little bit short is at left-back. Sean Dyche admitted that’s a position he’d like to see the team strengthened. Neco Williams got sent off yesterday, there’ll be a suspension for him. Oleksandar Zinchenko left the club yesterday, he’s joined Ajax.
“Those are the two positions they want. And there’s always a sniff of maybe Forest wanting a forward as well.”
McNeil exit from Everton feels unlikely
While it’s something plenty of fans would back, McNeil leaving in the coming hours doesn’t feel very likely.
There may be a ‘sniff’ of Forest wanting a forward. And Everton may well be bringing in Tyrique George.

But given the injury to Grealish, Moyes will surely be reluctant to let him depart, as there will only be four wide options for the time being.
Everton did enquire about Harry Wilson but were told there’s no chance. Had that been on for Everton, then McNeil likely would have been allowed to leave.
