Everton have now launched a late approach to sign another impressive attacker alongside Tyrique George, according to recent reports.
Everton set to sign Tyrique George
They've left it late, but Everton are set to add to their attacking options before the end of the transfer window. According to reports, the Toffees are set to sign George on loan from Chelsea in a deal that includes an option to buy the young forward at the end of the current campaign.
Everton's move is likely in response to the news that Jack Grealish could miss the rest of the season through injury, which could mean that he's already played his last game for the club.
George will be hoping to get some much-needed Premier League minutes under his belt, having been on the peripheral of Chelsea's starting side in recent months.
When the 19-year-old has been handed opportunities, he's shown glimpses of his quality in West London - scoring three goals in 11 appearances so far this season.

Deal now close: Everton in advanced talks to sign their new Ndiaye
Everton are closing in on a late signing for a star who is similar to fan favourite Iliman Ndiaye.
With Thierno Barry beginning to find his form and Iliman Ndiaye back from AFCON, the addition of George should help to form an impressive frontline at the Hill Dickinson Stadium.
But Everton may not be done there. George hasn't been the only name in their sights during the January transfer window. They've also been linked with the likes of Kalvin Phillips and Harry Wilson.
According to BBC Sport's Sami Mokbel, Everton launched an approach to sign Wilson from Fulham last week, only for their attempts to be rejected by the Cottagers. However, given that the Welshman's contract comes to an end this summer, he could still be one to watch.
Everton should target bargain Wilson move
The elephant in the room is that Wilson is a Liverpool academy graduate, but Everton should look past that. The winger's quality is too valuable to turn down if they have the opportunity to sign him as a free agent when his current deal comes to an end at Fulham this summer.

It could even be suggested that the Toffees would be getting one over on their rivals by signing their former academy star and handing him the opportunities that he never received at Anfield.

The 28-year-old has been in excellent form as Fulham's talisman this season and that has resulted in some impressive praise from manager Marco Silva, who told reporters earlier this month: "The numbers are top. It’s the best moment of his career, definitely. He’s enjoying it, but at the same time he’s working very hard.
"The numbers are incredible, but it’s not just about the numbers. This season he’s been incredible. He’s humble, and a hard-worker always."
