Leeds United's deadline day stance outlined amid Jorgen Strand Larsen and Crystal Palace…

Leeds United are not planning on conducting any more business in the transfer market, according to reports.

It has been a busy month for transfer speculation at Elland Road, with the Whites having been linked with a clutch of figures.

There is always noise concerning Leeds but it emerged the Whites were indeed on the trail of Wolverhampton Wanderers marksman Jorgen Strand Larsen.

Leeds United’s deadline day stance

Leeds have signed Argentine playmaker Facundo Buonanotte on loan from Brighton & Hove Albion but according to Sky Sports, the window is set to close with the club’s signing count at one.

It has been claimed Leeds were unwilling to rise above £40m in their pursuit of Strand Larsen, who is said to be finalising a £48m switch to Palace.

Meanwhile, the report has suggested the form and fitness of Dominic Calvert-Lewin has eased fears over depth up front.

In addition, it has been claimed the club do not want to sail any closer to their profit and sustainability limits.

There will undoubtedly be some disappointed Leeds fans, especially considering the top of the pitch is not the only area to have sparked concern.

Lucas Perri was dislodged between the sticks earlier this month and his replacement, Karl Darlow, blundered in the 4-0 defeat to Arsenal at the weekend.

Leeds have four senior goalkeepers on the books - Perri, Darlow, Illan Meslier and Alex Cairns - and look set to stick with that stable for the remainder of the campaign.

What Daniel Farke had to say

“I mentioned several times I won't speak publicly too much about my opinions because it makes the market just more difficult. Sadly, I can't answer honestly the question anyhow.

"Of course, we're always looking to improve the squad and to bring quality players in, especially on positions where we are perhaps a bit weaker anyhow.

"That's for sure, but I don't want to speak too much about this because I concentrate on the players that I have available and try to be there with the best possible decisions."
