The latest Man Utd injury news and updates after a serious setback for one teenage talent.
Manchester United defender Harry Amass is set for a lengthy spell on the sidelines after he suffered a 'serious' injury for loan club Norwich City.
The 18-year-old made his Norwich debut a week ago when he played the final 15 minutes of their impressive win over Coventry, but was left out of the squad for the weekend defeat to Middlesbrough. It has now emerged Amass missed the match because he suffered a 'long-term' injury in the final seconds of their training session before the match.
United sources say there is still no clarity on what his recovery process might look like, with the teenage full-back set for a long period out. Due to the fact he has already played for both Sheffield Wednesday and Norwich this season, even if he returned to full fitness, he would not be able to feature for United if they recalled him.

Harry Amass injury latest
Manchester United could bring Harry Amass back to the club to oversee his injury rehabilitation before a final decision is made on his Norwich future. United are unlikely to decide whether they should officially terminate the agreement until they have further clarity on his potential return date.
If he is not going to play again this season, it would make little sense for him to remain contracted to the Carrow Road club, but if there is hope he might be back for the final matches of the season, he could remain available for them.
Speaking in his post-match press conference over the weekend, Clement said: "Harry in the dying seconds of the training, he got an injury. I didn't want to say anything at the press conference because I wanted everything to be assessed. The assessment is that it will be a long-term injury. He is on loan from Man U, so we need to speak with Man U. I don't want to speak too fast about how long or whatever, because it is also a decision together.
Clement later told BBC Radio Norfolk: "Harry, in the dying seconds of training, got an injury. I didn't want to speak too much about it straight after training because there was no assessment yet about it. But it looks to be serious and that he will be out for a long time. He's on loan from Man U so it's also important to speak with them first before speaking to the outside world."
